Southern California probably isn't completely ready for a sparkling mulled wine
recipe, seeing as the sun still thinks it's summer, but I'm going to post this here anyway for all of you who are having some fall days and looking for a nice, warm drink perfect for cozy sipping!

Grab Your Ingredients
You'll need the following:
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- sliced lemon
- sliced oranges
- cinnamon sticks
- 1 bottle of red wine
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice
- Wave Soda Flavor of choice
As always, if you don't have all the ingredients for this sparkling mulled wine recipe and can't be bothered to leave your house there are some substitutes that can be made.
Try cinnamon powder instead of cinnamon sticks.
You can also use allspice or nutmeg instead of cloves!
Let's Get Spicy!
One of my favorite things about this sparkling mulled wine recipe is that it is rather spicy!
Now if you are getting a little more worried each time I say that, let me clear things up, I don't mean this is spicy hot, like wings or buffalo cauliflower.
This tasty Wave Soda drink is that sweet kind of spicy that warms up your insides and gets your blood flowing.
Either way, I think you'll love it so let's quit gabbing and make it already!
- Make the simply syrup by melting your sugar in your water in a small saucepan
- In a larger saucepan, combine your lemons, cloves, oranges, cinnamon sticks, cranberry juice, and red wine. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes
- Remove from heat and pour in your simply syrup mixture
- Pour into a glass and top with Wave Soda
Not so hard at all!
I highly suggest this sparkling mulled wine recipe for your next, social distanced, fall get-together.
Then again, I would suggest any Wave Soda cocktail or beverage for your next shindig.
