Have You Heard Of California's Surfrider Beach?

It's no surprise that California is considered one of the biggest surf hubs in the world. With over 1,000 miles of coastline, there is always a beach, itching to be surfed.

Speaking of surfing, follow along with today's Wave Soda blog post to learn about one special beach in particular that you can't go another day not knowing about!

"Surfrider Beach"

If you are a fan of catching waves, and I don't just mean our healthy soda alternative, "Surfrider Beach" is the spot for you.

The quotations adorn the perfectly titled name because the beach is actually a section of Malibu Lagoon State Beach.

Malibu Lagoon is made up of over 20 wetlands, but the stretch of beach that compromises "Surfrider Beach" has become popular because it offers almost .7 miles of ocean frontage!

"Surfrider Beach" first became popular in the 1950's and 1960's for it's use in many surfing movies.

It is the perfect place to go if you are looking for the ideal Southern California surf experience!

No matter what level of surfer you are, it's good to check the local surf report before you go. If it happens that you choose to go on a day that's not promising too many waves, don't fret, you can always bring your own.

Yep, I'm talking about our all-natural, Wave Soda of course! Our healthy soda drink makes for a perfect beach beverage, especially on a hot day!
