Happy National Creme de Menthe Day!
Any clue what that is?
No worries, I'm going to tell you in just a few seconds and then afterwards I will tell you how to make a tasty Wave Soda drink that you can add to your list of favorite cocktails!

Creme de What?
Creme de Menthe, silly!
This fancy sounding thing is actually a sweet, mint-flavored alcoholic beverage.

It comes in a colorless version, but most prefer the classic bold green hue that it is commonly known for.
Creme de Menthe typically has a high alcohol volume so it is best served diluted by another beverage, like a Wave Soda ;)
Alright, Let's Dabble
Let's get to it!
I researched some relatively easy cocktails to make with Creme de Menthe since it is its national day and what better way to celebrate than with a fancy green sparkling drink??
You'll need the following ingredients for this sparkling cocktail:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- .5 oz Creme de Menthe
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 4 oz Wave Soda Single Flavor of choice (I suggest Blackberry)
Grab a shaker, a glass, and some ice and follow these steps:
- Fill your shaker halfway with ice
- Pour in all the ingredients except the Blackberry Wave Soda
- Fill your glass 3/4 with ice
- Strain drink into glass and then add your sparkling fruit soda on top
- Stir and then enjoy!
New, easy, and fun!
Apparently, in the UK this drink is called a Full Nelson. Although, I think "Minty Wave Drank" is kind of cute!
You're right, I'll stick to blogging as long as you stick to Wave Soda Cocktail making!
