5 Super Healthy Seeds To Add To Your Diet

If you think about it, seeds carry the power and nutrients to product plants hundreds of times their size, so it makes perfect sense to add these power foods to your diet.

Follow along with our natural soda blog today to learn about 5 super healthy seeds that will supercharge your diet!

Chia Seeds

Chia seeds have proven to be a nutritional powerhouse.

A couple of tablespoons can provide 10g of fiber, (that's 1/3 of your daily target), plus plenty of unsaturated fats and proteins.

Try this: chia seeds don't have a lot of taste, (unlike our mango soda), so they are great for sprinkling on anything from baked goods to smoothies!

Pumpkin Seeds

You already know our sparkling water brand loves pumpkin seeds, as you saw in our National Pumpkin Seed Day celebration blog!

They are a great source of a wide variety of vitamins and minerals and contain plenty of protein and unsaturated fats.

Try this: roast seeds at 325 degrees Fahrenheit with some salt for a tasty snack

Sunflower Seeds

Sunflower seeds are packed full of Vitamin E. A couple of tablespoons will get you over half of your recommended daily intake of the vitamin, plus a good amount of protein and healthy fats.

Try this: add some sunflower seeds on top of your next salad for a salty crunch

Hemp Seeds

Hemp seeds rule the seed kingdom with their protein content!

A couple of tablespoons will get you around 10g of protein and like the seeds above, hemp seeds have a lot of unsaturated fats.

Try this: add hemp seeds to bread or salad

Flaxseeds

Flaxseeds provide a similar nutritional value as chia seeds. They contain healthy fats, protein, and fiber.

There isn't such a huge hype around flaxseeds compared to chia seeds, which make them a cheaper option.

Try this: flaxseeds have a nice nutty flavor so they are a great addition to salad, oatmeal
